In celebration of International Women’s Day, we continue our series by highlighting the inspiring journeys of women who are shaping the future of the tech industry. In this second article, we dive deeper into the stories of women from diverse backgrounds who have found their place in technology, their motivations, and their dedication to making a difference.

Claudia Godfrey, who joined Rosterfy in late 2024, embarked on her tech career with a clear sense of purpose. While new to the industry, Claudia’s transition into technology was driven by the desire to connect people with solutions that truly make an impact. She finds fulfilment in her role as it allows her to combine her marketing expertise with a mission-driven approach—helping to deliver products that change lives.
At Rosterfy, Claudia’s passion for technology and its potential for positive change fuels her every day. “Having conversations with our community, seeing the direct impact of our work, and knowing it makes a difference is what drives me,” she shares. Her commitment to purpose-driven work aligns with her belief that technology should not just solve problems, but also serve as a platform for creating meaningful social change.
Kelsey Mulcahy: Empowering Women Through Tech and Personal Advocacy

Kelsey’s journey into technology is one that blends personal passion with professional purpose. After completing her degree in 2014, Kelsey dove straight into a SaaS start-up, working on an API platform designed to improve the consumer experience in the beauty industry. It was in this predominantly female-led company where Kelsey's love for technology truly took root. “It completely removed any illusion that the tech space was for men,” she reflects. “Having an almost all-female team focused on improving a consumer experience for predominantly women was so refreshing and fun.”
In addition to her professional role, Kelsey Mulcahy is an advocate for mental health, resilience, and grief, with years of experience as a crisis counsellor. Her personal journey and advocacy are part of the reason she loves working for Rosterfy—her role in tech gives her the opportunity to combine problem-solving with making a meaningful social impact. She’s especially proud of how Rosterfy encourages people to engage with their communities, knowing that fostering resilience in others leads to a better world.
When it comes to women’s representation in tech, Kelsey is passionate about progress, yet remains keenly aware of the challenges ahead. “It’s still a novelty for me to come across another woman my age working in a similar space,” she admits. “But it’s empowering to see women in leadership positions, particularly those who bring their own unique flair to tech. That’s what truly stands out—seeing women unapologetically be themselves.”
Bunny Phetmunee: Passion, Authenticity, and Creative Problem-Solving in Tech
![Bunny_Phetmunee[1]](https://www.rosterfy.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Bunny_Phetmunee%5B1%5D.jpg?width=1920&height=1080&name=Bunny_Phetmunee%5B1%5D.jpg)
Bunny’s journey into technology began with a fascination for creative problem-solving. From coding as a hobby in middle school to pursuing a degree in computer science, Bunny’s path was defined by a love for design and innovation. Now, as a tech professional, Bunny values authenticity and strives to approach every challenge with creativity and innovation.
"I believe in staying true to myself and using technology to create meaningful change", Bunny says. Her values of thinking outside the box and making a positive impact resonate deeply in her work, where she is constantly exploring new ways to solve problems and think differently.
On women’s representation in tech, Bunny has observed a slow but steady shift in recent years. “There’s definitely progress, but women are still underrepresented in technical roles,” she notes. “I remember in some of my university classes, there were only three girls out of 20. I think that’s slowly changing, though, as more female role models emerge. We need to keep encouraging young girls to explore tech and engineering fields so they can see the possibilities for themselves.”
Maria Callista: A Fortunate Journey to Tech and Giving Back

"I attended the University of Melbourne on a full scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Management and Marketing. I am deeply passionate about people and giving back to the world. I never imagined this passion would lead me into the tech industry, but here I am—and I absolutely love it!" Maria emphasises.
Maria's journey to Rosterfy was truly fortunate. "My scholarship donor, Paul Wheelton, was one of Rosterfy's initial investors. When I was searching for a role that aligned with my HR skills and passion for people, he introduced me to Bennett, Rosterfy’s CEO. That connection led me to join Rosterfy, where I’ve now been for a year. It has been an incredible experience, and I feel grateful for the role and the amazing people I’ve met along the way", Maria shares.
At Rosterfy, Maria manages people operations for the global team while also contributing to a company that creates meaningful change in the world. She finds it fulfilling to work in an environment where her core values align so closely with the company’s mission, and she is deeply grateful for the opportunity to support and empower others through her work.
Anh Hoang: A Journey of Growth and Embracing New Challenges

Anh started her career in services and banking, industries where women are commonly represented. However, her curiosity about technology led her to step outside of her comfort zone. She pursued education in the field and ultimately found her place in the tech industry. While the learning curve was challenging, she believes that success comes from having the courage to start.
Anh’s core value revolves around continuously expanding her comfort zone—turning the unknown into the known. She acknowledges that setbacks and moments of 'not yet' success are part of the journey, but what matters most is the effort to try, learn, and grow from each experience.
Anh is incredibly proud to see more women stepping into the tech industry and proving their strong capabilities. “While it has been a long journey”, she firmly believes that women bring unique perspectives and ideas that enrich the growth of the industry. As representation continues to increase, so does the opportunity to shape a more inclusive and innovative future in technology
Tatiana Marulanda: A Diverse Path to Tech and the Pursuit of Empowerment

Tatiana’s journey into technology has been anything but traditional. From working on a personal banking interface project at university to leading an SAP implementation post-graduation, Tatiana’s path was defined by a series of unique opportunities. Her passion for technology grew while working in London at Seatwave, a Ticketmaster company, where she collaborated with a product team to build “My Bands,” a platform that suggested events based on Spotify listening habits. Tatiana’s love for tech continues to thrive, especially in the 'for purpose' environment, where every contribution feels like it makes a significant impact. 'That is why I am really enjoying my work at Rosterfy,' she shares."
Tatiana is also deeply committed to female empowerment and inclusivity. As a migrant, she has become an advocate for equality, ensuring that everyone, regardless of background or identity, has the opportunity to thrive in tech. She believes that while progress is being made, more needs to be done to support minorities—especially women—in the industry. “I often encounter talented women who feel hesitant to step into the spotlight because of their accents as non native English speakers or because they feel overshadowed by men, in some cases unintentionally,” Tatiana shares. “There’s still a lot of work to do to help minorities feel confident and capable in this space.”
Looking Ahead: Building Inclusive Communities in Tech
As we continue to celebrate women in technology, it’s crucial to acknowledge the contributions that incredible women are making—not only in their own companies but across the tech landscape. From marketing to engineering, product management to leadership, women are driving innovation, challenging norms, and creating solutions that make a real difference.
The stories shared here are a testament to the power of purpose-driven work and the importance of fostering environments where diversity and inclusivity thrive. However, as many of the women featured in this series have pointed out, there is still work to be done. The journey to achieving true gender equality and representation in technology is ongoing, but with each step forward, we move closer to creating a space where women can fully embrace their potential and pave the way for future generations.
As we continue to champion the achievements of women in technology, let’s not forget that there is always more we can do to support, uplift, and empower those who are still fighting to be seen, heard, and valued in this dynamic industry.
Here’s to the women who are paving the way for a more inclusive, innovative future in tech.
Happy International Women’s Day from Rosterfy!
