Users Settings

The Users settings tab is the central point to manage user-related configurations, allowing admins to tailor the platform to meet the unique needs of your organisation and users.

Users Settings

By adjusting the Users settings, you can ensure compliance with legal requirements, such as minimum age of your volunteers, enhance user experience, and maintain consistency in user profiles.

The Users settings tab provides the necessary tools to implement these requirements effectively. This level of customisation not only helps streamline user interactions but also contributes to the overall security and integrity of the platform.

Most settings will initially be configured with our recommended defaults. To modify any of these defaults, simply uncheck the Use Default toggle.

Note: Some of these settings may not be available to you based on the license you have or the permissions you have in the Rosterfy platform. Please contact Rosterfy if you require additional access.

To customise the Users settings, navigate to Settings > Organization Settings, then select the Users settings tab.

Require Date of Birth?

During the registration process, Rosterfy will automatically prompt users to provide their date of birth. This information is essential for verifying that they meet the minimum age requirements established in the system settings.

This setting will need to be set to Yes if you wish to set Minimum Age Requirements.

Minimum Age

Users are required to comply with the minimum age criteria established during the registration process. This requirement is determined based on their age at the time of registration and will also be applied when importing user data.

Minimum Age by Date

Users are required to meet the minimum age criteria by a specified date.

Note: This option will modify the previous setting by determining eligibility based on the set date rather than the current date at registration.

Profile Picture Width

When users upload their profile pictures, the images will be cropped to fit within this specified width.

Profile Picture Height

When users upload their profile pictures, the images will be cropped to fit within this specified height.

Users can Log-in?

This setting allows you to control whether users are able to login to Rosterfy. This is useful for sub accounts, if you want to retain data but restrict access to it.

Allow Social Log-in?

This setting allows you to control the availability of Google and Facebook login options on the login page. Additionally, it restricts users from registering through these social identity providers.

CAPTCHA on Log-in Form?

This will require users to complete a reCAPTCHA challenge on every login page to enhance security.

Users can Register?

This setting manages the accessibility of your registration form and will enable or disable the corresponding section on the login screen.

Note: Users invited to the platform via a registration link will still be able to register.

Registration Form

You have the flexibility to select the specific form utilised for user registration.

You can change the registration form at any time, ensuring that your registration page meets your current requirements.

Allow Availability Form Fields?

This setting enables you to specify whether users should be marked as available or unavailable by default.

  • If set to Yes, users will be designated as unavailable by default, requiring them to manually enter their availability.
  • If set to No, users will be marked as available by default and will automatically receive default available hours, however users can still updated these.

Note: Changing this setting will reset availability for all users.
