      Below is a step-by-step guide for Volunteers to access the Rosterfy Mobile App.

      Overview

      The Rosterfy Mobile App connects individuals with the communities, causes, and events they are passionate about. Users can receive real-time notifications, complete their applications directly through the app, and easily access their volunteering history anytime, anywhere.

      The app allows you to complete application processes or training directly. That means you can apply for volunteering positions in a way that works around your life.

      When you've had your shift confirmed simply Add to Calendar straight from the app so you never miss an opportunity to volunteer.

      Below we will take you through the required steps to get setup on the Rosterfy Mobile App.

       

      Note: The Rosterfy Mobile App is designed specifically for individuals who are already affiliated with a volunteer organisation who have enabled usage of the app.
      At this time, we do not have the functionality to connect individuals who wish to volunteer with organisations seeking assistance.

      If you are uncertain whether your volunteer organisation has enabled the app, or if you encounter any issues while downloading, installing, or accessing your organisation through the app, please reach out to the volunteer manager at your organisation for assistance.

      Unfortunately, Rosterfy is unable to provide direct support for volunteer-related inquiries.

      Downloading the Rosterfy Mobile App

      The Rosterfy Mobile App is compatible with the following operating systems:

      1. Android devices running version 5.0 or higher
      2. iOS devices running version 13.0 or higher

       

      Register for a Rosterfy Community Account

      To access the Rosterfy Mobile App, you will need to create a Rosterfy Community account.

      Note: This account is separate to any logins you have created with organisations you are volunteering for.

      To create a Rosterfy Community account, please follow these simple steps:

      1. Open the Rosterfy Mobile App on your device and click Get Started.
      2. There area couple of ways you can register for a Rosterfy Community Account; either through a social login (using Google, Facebook, or Apple), or by entering your email address to receive a magic link.
        The Rosterfy Mobile App is designed to be password-less, so you won't need to remember another password. 
        1. If you choose to register via social login, you will need to provide your login details for that social account and grant Rosterfy permission to access the necessary information. Simply click Allow to proceed.
        2. If you prefer email registration, enter your email address, and a magic link will be sent to you. Ensure you can access this email on your mobile device. 
          If you can't, consider forwarding the email to an accessible address or using social login instead.
          Once you receive the email, click on the magic link and follow the prompts to setup your profile.
      3. You will be prompted to share your location, which will enhance your experience within the app and facilitate checking in for shifts.
      4. Additionally, you will be asked if you wish to enable notifications. Activating push notifications will allow you to receive important updates from your organisation, without any advertising or marketing messages from Rosterfy.

      Note: The email magic link must be accessed and completed on the mobile device you are using to register; it cannot be completed on a desktop computer.

       

      Link your Account

      If you registered using the same email address that you use to log into the Rosterfy Volunteer Portal, whether through social login or email, you will see a list of available accounts that you can link.
      However if you have used a different address, you can still link your accounts together, simply follow the below instructions:

      1. Once logged into the Rosterfy Mobile App, click the Account selector at the top of the screen. 
      2. Click Link Additional Account.
      3. Enter the email address you used to register on the Rosterfy Volunteer Portal, click Submit.
      4. An email will be sent to the email address you enter with a verification link for you, click Done, and navigate to your emails. 
      5. Click the verification link on the email you receive, the Rosterfy Mobile App will automatically load and verify.
      6. The Account Selector will now display the volunteer organisations you are linked to.
