Reference Check Setup Guide - Part Three

Rosterfy facilitates reference checks, enabling administrators to gather essential information from referees for their volunteer and workforce programs. This article will take you through Part Three: Setting up Communications.

Reference Check Module Setup Guide

The Rosterfy Reference check module allows administrators to request information from referees for their volunteer and workforce programs.

Administrators can create custom questions for the reference check, and referees are able to complete the reference check without the need to create a Rosterfy account.

There are a number of steps that need to be completed for the reference check module, check out the Reference Check - Overview article for more information.

In this article we will be going through setting up the required communications.

If you have not enabled the Reference Check module in your Rosterfy instance or setup the referee information forms, check out Reference Check Module Setup Guide - Part One, and Reference Check Setup Guide - Part Two, before continuing with the steps below.

Step Three: Setting up Communications

A number of Email Templates are recommended to utilise the Reference Check module:

  • Requesting the reference from the referee
  • Reference completed notification
  • Reference reminder to referee
  • Reference reminder to candidate

We also recommend to create an Email Category specific to Reference Checks for ease in future steps.

There are Mail Merge tags available for the email communications relating to reference checks:

Reference Check - Referee:

  • Name: *|bgc_reference_referee_name|* -  This is the Referee Name the User has provided
  • Form Link: *|bgc_reference_form_link|* - This is the link to the Reference Check Form

For more information on setting up email templates or using merge tags, check out the Emails - Overview article.
