What’s New 🚀
Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to enhance the Rosterfy platform, focusing on user feedback and evolving industry needs. We are excited to introduce a variety of new features designed to improve functionality, streamline processes, and enrich the overall user experience.
Invitation Templates
Invitation Templates have been introduced to streamline the invitation process, enabling quicker and more efficient creation of reusable invitations. When utilising a Template to create an Invitation, relevant content and settings will automatically populate, saving time and effort.
Additionally, you can categorise the Templates by creating Template Types, enhancing organisation and accessibility.
💡How this helps: This will save time on invitation creation as often used invitations can have the content and settings pre-saved into a template and ready to go when required.
Send Email to Group Leader Automation Task
A new automation task has been introduced that enables an email notification to be sent to group leaders once an invitation process is finalised.
Please note that this feature is exclusively available for the User-Register task.
💡How this helps: This feature enhances communication and ensures that group leaders are promptly informed about invitations that have been completed, allowing them to take any necessary action or follow up as needed.
Split Shifts and Distribute Demand
A new feature has been introduced in the Events Shift Listing that allows administrators to split a shift.
By selecting this option, the original shift will be duplicated, and the admin can specify the amount of demand that should be allocated to the new shift.
Once split, the demand will be removed from the original shift and applied to the new duplicated shift.
💡How this helps: This feature enhances the management of staffing needs by allowing for precise duplication of shift details, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately carried over to the new shift and demand is split per requirements.
Inherit Report Templates to Child Accounts
Report templates can be marked as inheritable within a parent account, allowing sub-accounts to use the same template, rather than creating new templates.
However, there are a few things to note with this:
- The template is not editable within the sub-account level.
- If the template is used in a report at the sub-account level, the report will be configurable.
💡How this helps: This feature allows child accounts to utilise the same report template, eliminating the need to recreate identical reports across multiple accounts.
Individual FAQ Item Link Generation
When an FAQ is created, a unique link will now be generated for that specific item.
This link can be easily shared with users or incorporated into other content within the portal.
By clicking the link, users will be taken directly to the FAQ page, with the relevant FAQ item automatically expanded for their convenience.
💡How this helps: The introduction of direct links to individual FAQ items enables you to guide users to precise answers as needed.
Minor Enhancements / Fixes ☑️
A number of minor enhancements / fixes have also been made to the platform and are outlined briefly below.
Prevent new Role Application if there are Waitlist Users
If there are users on a waitlist for a role offer and demand for that role becomes available, the system will now prevent new applications from being submitted to fulfil the offer.
The system will first check the status of the waitlist: if it is full, users will not be permitted to apply to the waitlist. Conversely, if there is still capacity on the waitlist, users can apply until the demand on the waitlist is satisfied; new applicants will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist.
Ability to Edit and Resubmit Rejected Role Offers / Events
Rejected Events and Role Offers can now be edited and re-submitted.
