What’s New 🚀
Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to enhance the Rosterfy platform, focusing on user feedback and evolving industry needs. We are excited to introduce a variety of new features designed to improve functionality, streamline processes, and enrich the overall user experience.
Mail Merge Tag Added for Shift Leader Details
When communicating about shifts, you can now seamlessly include Shift Leader Details by using the new mail merge tag, Shift Leader Details (Custom).
The Shift Leader Details mail merge tag will provide comprehensive information about the shift leader(s) for the shift in question, including their name, phone number, and email address.
💡How this helps: This new mail merge tag simplifies the process of sharing shift leader details with users, removing the need for manual distribution of this information for each individual shift.
Mail Merge Tag Added for Reward Points Balance
Keeping your users informed about their reward points balance has become more straightforward with the introduction of a new mail merge tag, User Reward Points.
💡How this helps: This new mail merge tag allows organisations to keep their volunteers engaged by sending them regular email updates regarding their points balance.
Rules Available on Admin Approval Criteria in Journeys
Administrators can now set specific rules within the Admin Approval criteria while configuring Journey steps. This enhancement allows for greater flexibility in defining approval responsibilities, enabling certain administrator roles to be excluded from the approval process as needed.
💡How this helps: This enhancement allows for greater flexibility in defining approval responsibilities, enabling certain administrator roles to be excluded from the approval process as needed.
Asurint Integration
US based background check provider, Asurint is now available in the integrations list.
After enabling the integration, you can easily input the necessary information to configure your Asurint account.
A list of available packages will appear, along with the relevant URL. These URLs can be shared with users via an email or the portal dashboard to commence the background check process.
A credit check status will be displayed on the user's profile once they have completed and submitted their background check.
💡How this helps: This integration provides customers with an extra option for conducting background checks on users, enhancing the flexibility and choice available in the verification process.
Subaccount Limitations
A new organisation setting has been added allowing you to set a limit to the number of subaccounts users are able to join, How many Subaccounts can Users join?.
When a user logs into the portal dashboard and checks the subaccount listings, they will no longer see the option to join additional subaccounts once they have reached the specified limit.
💡How this helps: This organisation setting will enable organisations to restrict the number of subaccounts that users can join.
Portal Dashboard Language Selector
Should your organisation offer multiple language options, a new language selection feature will now be accessible on the portal dashboard.
💡How this helps: This language selector enables users to effortlessly select their desired language, enhancing their overall experience on the portal dashboard.
Inventory Management Updates
We have made a number of additions to inventory management within this update, find out more about these below.
Bulk Updating Bundle Items
A new feature has been added to the Actions menu in the Bundles section of Rewards & Recognition, allowing administrators to efficiently perform bulk updates on bundle items.
A popup window will appear with the following fields:
- Rewards & recognition Item: Select which item you want to update.
- Status: Set the status for the item, so long as adequate stock is available.
- Apply To: Set the variant for selected items, provided those items allow for the chosen variant option, have sufficient stock available and the item is not already dispatched.
Note: Only the relevant variant options will display for the selected bundles. However, in certain situations, such as when a mix of packs is selected or no rows are chosen, a larger number of variations may be shown for potential updates.
Also, if there is not enough stock to allow the update, any errors will be shown to the admin.
💡How this helps: This will save admins from manually updating bundle items, one by one.
Bulk Updating Variants and Bundle Status
Within a bundle, admins now have the ability to update item variants in bulk.
A popup will appear, showing the standard items for the selected Pack, here you will be able to set new variants.
On save, if there are any stock limits, the admin will be shown a list of any errors, any items that have already been distributed will be skipped.
💡How this helps: This update will save admins time, allowing them to update variants in bulk, rather than one by one.
Ability to Match User Preference on Bundle Listing
The Bundle list, for Uniform Requests (Bundles) where any items inside differ from the User's current size preference, now have a one-click Match User Preferences action available.
A new Align button has been added to each row in the bundle listings, this allows administrators to update item variants effortlessly, aligning them with the user's preferences with just a single click.
Bundles that contain items already distributed or voided cannot be aligned.
Note: If there are any reasons the re-alignment can't be fulfilled, the admin will see the reasons. For instance, if one of the items is marked Packed, then aligning it would require stock to be taken from the location, and there may be none.
This functionality can also be performed en masse, using the bulk actions.
💡How this helps: This will ensure Uniform Requests best match user's preferences.
New Filters Added for Bundle and Bundle Item Listings
Role Offer filters have been added to both the Bundle lists and Bundle Item lists, including:
- Functional Area
- Location
- Venue
- Job Title
Item Category filters have also been added to the Bundle Item listings.
💡How this helps: The introduction of these filters in the Bundle lists and Bundle Item lists will empower administrators to efficiently narrow down their searches, allowing them to quickly locate the specific information they need.
Initial Stock Quantity Added to Locations
Location items now have a new property called Initial Stock.
On creation of a Location Item, the Initial Stock will be set at the quantity it is imported with. From there, the system will not automatically change it, however, an admin will be able to manually modify this value if they wish.
Stored Stock (previously called Quantity) will represent items stored in the location, that haven't yet been distributed, meaning all items currently available in the location except those distributed or packed.
The amount will decrease dynamically based on a number of factors, such as when items are:
- Distributed
- Transferred to another location
- Set to packed in a bundle
- Manually changed by an Admin
💡How this helps: The introduction of the Initial Stock quantity and update of Stored Stock will enable greater control over the number of items in stock at the location.
