Product Updates - Mobile App - 27th March 2025

This article provides an overview of the features/updates the product development team have delivered on the 27th of March 2025 Rosterfy Mobile App release.

What’s New πŸš€

Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to enhance the Rosterfy Mobile App, focusing on user feedback and evolving industry needs. We are excited to introduce a variety of new features designed to improve functionality, streamline processes, and enrich the overall user experience.

Custom Shift Filters

A filter icon has been added to the Event details page, allowing for a more customised experience for users based on filter options in Event settings.

The filter icon appears in the bottom right corner on the Shifts page of events.

Allowing you to filter based on options such as date range, shift type and ability to hide/show full shifts.

πŸ’‘How this helps: The filter options will allow users to easily find shifts that match their preferences.

Shift Location added to Local Calendar Entry

Users will now be able to save the shift location along with other shift details, when adding a Shift to their local calendar on their mobile.

The shift location will flow through to calendar entries on commonly used calendars such as:

  • Google Calendar (Android / iOS)
  • Outlook Calendar (Android / iOS)
  • Apple Calendar (iOS)

πŸ’‘How this helps: The addition of shift location to calendar entries, will enable users to easily access their shift location from their calendar app.

Self-removal from Sub-accounts

A new setting has been introduced, enabling administrators to grant users the ability to remove themselves from sub-accounts.

The new setting within Organization Settings > Security, Allow Users to remove themselves from Subaccount, when toggled to No, the Remove from Subaccount button is hidden from users and they will not be able to self-remove.

Note: Self-removal from sub-accounts does not delete the user, but simply removes them from the sub-account.

πŸ’‘How this helps: The ability for Users to remove themselves from sub-accounts, eases the administrative pressure and allows Users to be apart of organisations that are relevant to them.

Notification Bell with Number of Unread Communications

An update has been made to the notification bell in the top right corner of the screen to now include a badge to indicate the number of unread communications.

πŸ’‘How this helps: The new counter on the Notification Bell will help users easily identify the number of unread notifications they have.
