Whatβs New π
Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to enhance the Rosterfy Mobile App, focusing on user feedback and evolving industry needs. We are excited to introduce a variety of new features designed to improve functionality, streamline processes, and enrich the overall user experience.
Post Shift Leader Feedback Forms
Team Leaders now have the ability to fill out Post Shift Leader Feedback forms directly within the Rosterfy App.
The feedback form will be available for the Team Leader to complete after the start of the shift time and once they have checked in for the shift.
π‘How this helps: This will enable team leaders to complete post shift requirements with ease on the spot, removing the need to log onto the desktop.
Redeem Rewards on Check-in
Shift Leaders can now collect distributable items for their teams when checking in volunteers, whether using Leader Mode or Global Check-in.
To facilitate this, Reward and Recognition items must be designated as distributable for both check-in and check-out, and they should have valid quantities and expiry dates. Once these criteria are met, the items will be readily available for Shift Leaders to distribute.
Contact Us FAQs
Users can now find the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) previously available in the desktop directly within the Contact Us form of the Rosterfy Mobile App.
π‘How this helps: This addition allows users to access Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) directly within the app, eliminating the need to navigate to the desktop. This enhancement empowers users to find answers to their most common questions effortlessly.
Allow Users to be Marked as Verified
Users who register through the Rosterfy Mobile App can now authenticate their accounts and be designated as Verified on the desktop platform.
π‘How this helps: Users can now complete the verification process entirely within the Rosterfy Mobile App, eliminating the need for additional verification on the desktop platform.
Event Grid Image Updates
When the Event Grid image is not uploaded, it will now automatically display the portal banner image as a default.
This banner image can be managed within the Branding organisation settings, ensuring that users can easily recognise the organisation they are volunteering with, even in the absence of a specific event image.
Note: If you are unable to see Portal Banner Image with your organisation settings, please contact your Customer Support Manager at Rosterfy, for further assistance.
π‘How this helps: The use of the Portal Banner image on the Event grid will ensure users can easily see which organisation they are volunteering with, if no image is uploaded to the Event.
Accessibility Updates
As our team has focused on enhancing the features of the Rosterfy Mobile App, we have also prioritised accessibility to ensure an inclusive experience for all users. In this update, we are pleased to introduce several improvements aimed at enhancing the app's accessibility.
Screen Readers can Identify Buttons
We have implemented enhancements to ensure that screen readers can effectively identify clickable buttons. The voice-over now includes the phrase Click to, providing clear guidance that users are interacting with a clickable element.
π‘How this helps: The inclusion of the phrase Click to, will help users who rely on screen readers to easily identify when a button is clickable within the Rosterfy Mobile App.
Shift Tile Information is Clickable to Reorder Voiceover
Users are now able to click or scroll on the Shift tile to hear the available information in their preferred order.
π‘How this helps: This accessibility feature allows users to listen to the information in a preferred sequence, enabling them to bypass unnecessary details and focus on the specific parts they need.
