Product Updates - Mobile App - 10th December 2024

This article provides an overview of the features/updates the product development team have delivered on the 10th of December 2024 Rosterfy Mobile App release.

 

 


What’s New πŸš€

Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly to enhance the Rosterfy Mobile App, focusing on user feedback and evolving industry needs. We are excited to introduce a variety of new features designed to improve functionality, streamline processes, and enrich the overall user experience. 

 


Contact Us Form

Volunteers will now be able to access the Contact Us Form from with the Rosterfy Mobile App.

Access is available in the left hand hamburger menu, Users will be able to submit forms to one or more contact centres you have set up.

Note: Please note that visibility of the Contact Us form for users could be impacted by their Checkpoint Permissions.

Embedded Videos in Portal Content

Volunteers will now be able to access embedded videos in any area of the Rosterfy Mobile App, where portal content is displayed.

This includes Event / Shift details, Role Offer details, News Articles and Dashboard portal content.

 

πŸ’‘How this helps: The ability to have embedded videos within the portal content will allow you to display captivating and interactive information to your users within the Rosterfy Mobile App, in line with the desktop volunteer portal capability.

 


QR Code Configuration

Administrators are now able to configure QR codes for their Volunteers to display information such as User ID, RRN or Rosterfy User Token.

 

 

πŸ’‘How this helps: Configuring the QR Codes will allow for a more streamlined check-in process for both your Volunteers and Shift Leaders.

 


Checkpoint Type Widget

The Checkpoint Type Widget user interface now displays as a bubble, allowing Volunteers to easily see the Checkpoint stage they are in. It also allows the user to swipe when the amount of checkpoints exceeds the available screen realestate.

User Profile Enhancements

The User Profile details now include Timezone and the option for Volunteers to Subscribe or Unsubscribe to Marketing Emails.

Dashboard Upgrades

Administrators now have the ability to reorder the Rosterfy Mobile App dashboards, allowing them to align the view with the desktop volunteer portal.

Volunteers are also able to now react to News Articles with a like!

The addition of Likes for your News Articles will allow your volunteers to have an interactive experience with your updates.

 


Minor Enhancements / Fixes β˜‘οΈ

A number of minor enhancements / fixes have also been made to the Rosterfy Mobile App and are outlined briefly below.

QR Code Scanner

The QR Code Scanner for Global Check-In and Leader Mode are now working as expected.

Account Switching Upgrade

An update has been made to the wording for Account Switching to give Users a better experience and advise them which account they are navigating to.

Portal Content Buttons

Buttons within Portal Content now have a defined background, improving visibility.

Training Module

The Training User Interface now clearly displays longer training name titles and navigation buttons.

Events / Shifts

Error message for Event Details page has been updated to include more accurate information.Shift details page has also had an update to ensure information is displayed after Check-In / Check-Out.
