      Microsoft Teams Integration

      Rosterfy + Microsoft Teams integration allows you to add Teams meetings to your Rosterfy Shifts. Creating calendar invites in your Microsoft Teams account for shifts.

      Microsoft Teams Integration

      Rosterfy + Microsoft Teams integration allows you to add Teams meetings to your Rosterfy Shifts. Creating calendar invites in your Microsoft Teams account for shifts.

      Commonly used for virtual interviews. Rosterfy provides functionality to add video conferences to shifts within the application. Links to the shifts are stored in Rosterfy and can be used in mail merge tags. 

       

      Note: Please keep in mind that some integrations may require extra support or incur additional costs for implementation with your Rosterfy subscription.

       

      Setting up the Integration

      To setup the integration, follow these simple steps:

      1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations in Rosterfy.
      2. Search for Teams and select Enable > Authorize.
      3. Login using your Microsoft Teams admin credentials in the pop up window.

      4. Accept the Terms and Conditions to complete the integration.

      NOTE: Only one Microsoft Teams account can be integrated with Rosterfy, all meetings will be added to that account's calendar.

       

      Adding a Shift to Microsoft Teams

      To add a shift to Microsoft Teams, follow these simple instructions:

      1. Navigate to Events > Shifts.
      2. Find the Shift you wish to add the Microsoft Teams meeting to and click More Actions > Update.
      3. Select Video Conference on the left hand menu within Update Shift.
      4. Click Add To Teams to add the shift to Microsoft Teams.
      5. The screen will then update to show the Meeting URL and Meeting ID.

       

      Communicating the Meeting Details to Users

      You can use Mail Merge Tags to send the meeting URL in communications to Users.

      To do this, follow these instructions:

      1. Navigate to Communications > Email.
      2. Find an existing template to update or create a new template.
      3. Edit the Content of the email and select Mail Merge Tags.
      4. Select Event Shift, within this you will find the two available Mail Merge Tags:
        1. Teams Meeting ID
        2. Teams Meeting Link
      5. Including Teams Meeting Link in your communication will provide the User with the relevant link to their virtual meeting.

       

      What are the Limitations?

      • Only one Microsoft Teams account can be linked, all meetings will be in this calendar.
