When creating Event Types there are additional settings that may be useful. We can ensure the Event is not impacted by Scheduling Rules and we can also have customer terms for that particular Event.
Scheduling Rules
When creating up updating an Event type you will notice a toggle Ignore Scheduling Rules if this is turned on then events of this Event Type will not follow any of the automatic rostering rules on the platform. E.g. Maximum shifts per X time.
Event Specific Terms
By clicking onto the Terms tab you will be able to set specific terms for Events of this type. Much like the custom terms in across Rosterfy but just for this specific type of Event.
