After an extensive global tender process, the Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 is thrilled to announce that it has selected Rosterfy as the volunteer management system for the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 and National Summer Games Berlin 2022.
Recognized as the third largest mass participation event worldwide and the most inclusive event for people with intellectual disabilities, the Special Olympics World Games strive to create a better world by fostering the acceptance and inclusion of all people through the power of sport.
With Berlin set to host Special Olympics National Games 2022 and, for the first time in event’s history, the SO World Games 2023 up to 20,000 volunteers will be required to support the program, which has similar resource requirements to the Paralympics.
Rosterfy will be implemented to support the end to end user experience for volunteers including recruitment, screening and training through to scheduling, communications and onsite management.
Saurabh Mishra, Senior Manager, Volunteers & Workforce, Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 said, “I feel that Rosterfy is the best solution for volunteer management. Not only does their platform provide an end to end solution to volunteer journey but what really set them apart was their keenness to make it a meaningful experience for everyone (both administrators and users).” Saurabh said.
Volunteer administrators will use Rosterfy in tandem to support the recruitment, management and engagement of volunteers across the two consecutive Special Olympics Games in Berlin.
