Hosted by Stack Sport's, Daniella Forsyth and joined by Phillip Gbormittah, Rosterfy, Emma Peat, Hockey England and Stephanie Bigley, Greater London Authority this virtual event panel answered key questions about the immediate impact of dealing with COVID-19.
Taking a closer look at recruitment process guidelines, collecting sensitive data in line with GDPR and how to recruit new volunteers whilst simultaneously engaging your current volunteers, this event provided some great insight into best practice workforce management.
Focusing on the importance of keeping your volunteers engaged and motivated, the panel highlighted how they have been engaging their workforce during Covid-19 by providing new opportunities alongside one on one and group engagement activities including video calls and quiz nights.
The panel also discussed the importance of technology and how this has played an integral role in enabling them to engage with their workforce but also segment their staff for contingency plans when following up with Government guidelines.
